The low down.
Work with me, get what you want.
Jorgensen accumulated her vast coaching, advisory and facilitating experience working with high level executives, entrepreneurs and teams from Australia, Greater China, New Zealand and the U.S.
Her promise to others is simple: to be unconditionally constructive. “It begins with empathy, you have to care about the person you are talking to, and helping them realise and reach their goals.”
Jorgensen is known for her powerful ability to instantly create a safe space when being with people and having them shed light on corners of themselves that often, no one else has seen.
“You see the greatness in them and desire to be in service to them. Your care extends to pointing out what makes them uniquely brilliant, so they can see themselves without discomfort.
Her promise to herself is arguably more challenging: to continue picking herself up, dusting herself off, and speaking her truth. Peers pinpoint this “grit” as the quality that makes Jorgensen deeply relatable to others, and where her empathy shines the brightest.
Australian-born Jorgensen kicked off her career in events and sales, picking up what describes as invaluable experience in pitching, negotiation, and effective communication.
Jorgensen’s ten, life-changing years in The People’s Republic of China is where she “really honed her brand and marketing chops,” and while she had plenty of fun trying to learn the language, her biggest challenge was learning to adapt to rapidly changing and ambiguous markets.
“In China, I couldn’t rely on the usual, I had to develop distinctive, divergent communication approaches in order to succeed”.
“It left me with invaluable skills that have only sharpened my proficiency in decoding the varying, and often challenging communication styles across both teams and individuals.”
Despite the thrills and challenges presented by life as an expat China, Jorgensen says she still wound up with a “conventional corporate life” that didn’t feel quite right. What unfolded next was a mission to discover what made her, and everyone else around her, ‘fabulously ordinary’. When TEDx came knocking, it proved an “amazing experience” that opened doors to coaching others in confidently executing successful presentations.
“As a presenter and a coach, I think the challenge is to openly share real-life accounts. This is the same goal that I have for all clients: let’s turn your work, activity, research, leadership and thinking into a clear, compelling and memorable story.” Because at the end of the day, the goal is, and always will be, connection.
